This will be our first meeting for over six years and the committee has arranged the following talk:
Our new President, Tony Dunhill, will present the latest NDT methods Rolls-Royce is using to maintain its competitive edge. He will describe how his organisation engages with researchers to deliver new and improved capabilities for inspecting new engine materials and shapes. This includes the impact NDT is having on the 'Power by the Hour' business model, where Rolls-Royce retains ownership of the engines. He will end with a vision for the future of NDE from a Rolls-Royce perspective.
We will then have a buffet etc in the bar/restaurant area.
