The NDT Technology Section is a group of engineers, consultants and technicians dedicated to the development and successful implementation of the full spectrum of non-destructive testing. TWI's aim is to provide cost savings and reliability assurance to customers through the development of innovative inspection solutions and by interfacing with related technologies, such as engineering critical assessment, risk-based inspection strategies, reliability analysis and repair procedure development.

Training and Examination Services
TWI offers a range of courses:

  • Conventional NDT courses: VT, PT, MT, ET, UT, RT and RI
  • Advanced NDT courses: AUT, PAUT, LRUT, TOFD, ACFM, digital radiography CR and DR 
  • Blended learning options (PAUT, TOFD, UT)  and eLearning products (appreciation, refresher, pre-course) in PAUT, TOFD and UT
  • Corrosion detection and monitoring
  • Inspection-based courses include welding inspection, welding supervision, plant inspection, piping and tankage inspection, painting and coatings, cathodic protection, risk-based inspection and fitness-for-purpose assessment

The training and assessment is approved by BINDT, CSWIP, AWS and BGAS-CSWIP.
