Business has continued to expand at Peak NDT with the recent appointment of Tom Marshall as Managing Director. Formerly Head of Applications at Sonatest Ltd, Tom has been at the forefront of product development in the Sonatest group, responsible for the aerospace and composite inspection markets.
Upon completion of his doctorate in ultrasonics in 1999, Tom joined NDT Solutions Ltd as a design engineer, developing the Wheelprobe and both conventional and array-based systems products through the business, becoming the Company Manager of NDT Solutions in 2007. He brings to Peak NDT 12 years of experience in the NDT industry, of product development, and project and general management.
Peak NDT has been consistently at the forefront of innovation in the field of conventional and phased array ultrasonic inspection instrumentation, pioneering the use of full matrix capture phased array technology within the power and aerospace industries. Following Tom’s appointment at Peak NDT he told NDT News: “I am delighted to be joining the board of directors at Peak NDT, applying my experience and skills to developing new products, markets and territories for the business. Moving to new purpose-built facilities last year, Peak NDT has continued to expand its business and will be continuing to drive innovation forward with exciting new products to meet the growing demands for NDT inspection.
