HARBOUR TOUR AND EVENING MEAL
The harbour at Bristol is world renowned as the home of the phrase 'Ship Shape and Bristol Fashion' so no trip to Bristol would be complete without a visit to the port.
A coach, kindly sponsored by GE Inspection Technologies, will pick up at four hotels (highlighted in the hotel list) and the BAWA site to deliver you to the heart of Bristol. The short walking tour (20 minutes approx) will cover the site of John Cabot's historic departure to the New World in his famous ship 'The Matthew', the old loading docks and the new Millennium Square with its science centre and impressive modern fountains. You may even bump into a Hollywood legend on the way to his next blockbuster!
After this it's into a pub for a light meal, some liquid refreshment* and a chance to compare notes with other delegates. Return by coach will be at 10.15.
All in all a pleasant evening in good company so make sure you tick the box in the application form to reserve your seat.
