Gilligan will be using Materials Testing to keep the industry informed about its new products and services developed in response to customer needs and regulatory developments. A leading supplier for radioisotopes within the UK, the company holds a significant stock of sources enabling it to offer a fast and reliable customer service.
The range of equipment offered by the company includes source projectors and the full range of radiographic accessories, isotope crawlers for pipeline radiography and radiation monitors and alarms.
The company also offers a full maintenance and certification service for radiography equipment in line with IRR99 requirements. It can tailor its service to meet customers' needs either in-house or on-site.
Supply, calibration and repair of radiation monitoring equipment is also a key service offered.
With a commitment to constantly develop and improve its service in response to their customer's needs, in recent years the company has developed its training, consultancy and design services. In addition to RPS courses, emergency source retrieval are also offered, as well as bespoke customer-orientated courses on radiation safety and transportation. Another new service is the design and installation of radiography bay safety systems bespoke to customer needs and fully compliant with the relevant legislative requirements.
