Established in 1983, Silverwing UK Ltd will be using Materials Testing 2009 to market its ranges of magnetic flux leakage and ultrasonic corrosion detection, sizing and imaging equipment.
A highlight of the display will be a demonstration of the RMS 450 high-speed C-scan imaging system. The RMS (Rapid Motion Scanner) 450 is one of the world’s fastest C-scan imaging systems, scanning at 500 mm per second with a maximum resolution of 1 mm x 1 mm and inspection rates of up to 10 square metres per hour depending on the resolution used. Large-area C-scan inspection is now an economic reality with the RMS. Swansea-based Silverwing UK Ltd also offers a full range of above-ground tank inspection equipment.
