Established in 2002 in Besançon, France, SONAXIS is a young and innovative manufacturer of specific ultrasonic probes. These probes cover a large frequency range of 200 kHz to 20 MHz, with piezo-composite, single element or phased array. In the year of its foundation, SONAXIS was awarded in the competition of innovative start-up companies, organised by the French Ministry of Research.
The company provides NDT solutions thanks to the ultrasound
technology and specialises in developing original concepts adapted to customised needs.Application areas include the inspection of low penetration materials, research of productivity with large sensors, phased array or multi-frequency probes. SONAXIS also manufactures high-frequency sensors over a frequency range of 30 MHz to 100 MHz and develops analytical and expertise tools dedicated to acoustic microscopy.
