Established in 1990, Foerster UK Ltd will be using Materials Testing 2011 to market its range of eddy current instruments. A highlight of the display will be a demonstration of the newly-released Defectoscope MC 2.834 eddy current test unit, which enables users to detect surface and sub-surface cracks in the aerospace/automotive industries. The Defectoscope MC 2.834 has the unique ability to connect up to 32 sensors to each of its 3 input modules, permitting up to a total of 96 sensors and with each module operating 4 separate frequencies.
The Tamworth, Staffordshire-based Foerster UK Ltd also offers eddy current testing of semi-finished products, component testing, metal detection and magnetics, and mobile testing and measuring equipment.
