GE Inspection Technologies
Stand C19
GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies was established in 2003 by bringing together heritage companies from the major modalities of NDT. Last year, the business was combined with the further heritage business of Bently Nevada and Control Solutions to create GE Energy, Measurement & Control Solutions. It will be using Materials Testing 2011 to market its range of ultrasonic, eddy current, remote visual inspection and radiography instruments and systems as well as its NDT image processing and archiving software.
A highlight of the display will be the USM Vision ultrasonic (UT) weld inspection system, which allows non-UT trained specialists to gather reliable and accurate weld inspection data for subsequent remote assessment by a suitably qualified ultrasonics expert. Also on show for the first time is the CRx25 computed radiography (CR) imaging solution, which combines high scanning resolution and throughput with compact design and light weight to provide an innovative, portable inspection solution for a wide range of applications.
GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies is a global organisation with its UK offices in Coventry. It provides inspection solutions to provide industrial healthcare for its customers’ assets and plant. Also on its stand at Materials Testing 2011 will be the new Rightrax HT for remote, high-temperature corrosion monitoring, its latest innovations in RVI and its rhythm software platform, which will be demonstrated operating with computed radiography and direct digital radiography (DR).
