Established in 2002, Pexa Ltd will be using Materials Testing 2011 to market its range of Sherwin Babbco MPI and DPI products, calibration test panels, inspection lighting, calibration photography and related consumables. A highlight of the display will be a demonstration of the novel inspection lighting using UV LED light to replace traditional mercury vapour lamps. Combined with DPI products which fluoresce in blue light, this enables users to replace conventional mercury vapor lamps which will be phased out under RoHS and WEEE regulations.
Halifax-based Pexa also offers low toxicity and biodegradable dye penetrants, aerosol DPI and MPI materials of all types, and ultrasonic couplant gels.
