Established in 1983, Phoenix Inspection Systems Ltd will be using Materials Testing 2011 to market its range of manual and automated scanners for phased array, TOFD and corrosion mapping, and its range of transducers and inspection systems. A highlight of the display will be a demonstration of the new beltman scanner, the motorised magbug system and the small bore weld scanner for phased array inspection, which enables users to inspect circumferential welds on small diameter pipes in limited access areas.
Based in Warrington, UK, Phoenix Inspection Systems also specialises in leak and blockage detection, TOFD equipment, HT and subsea inspection equipment and turbine inspection equipment.
