Established in 1954, Proceq SA will be using Materials Testing 2011 to market its range of portable metal hardness and thickness gauge testing instruments. A highlight of the display will be a demonstration of two new products released in 2011, namely the Equostat 3 and Zonotip for portable static hardness testing and thickness gauge testing, respectively. The Equostat 3 was developed for accurate, rapid and repeatable metal hardness testing to satisfy the need of clients who prefer the traditional use of an indenter to obtain the hardness of metals, especially for thinner surfaces. The Zonotip has been designed to measure the thickness of ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as parts made from polymers, glass, ice, and other materials with a low ultrasonic attenuation. The measuring range on steel is from 0.8 to 300 mm.
