Established in 1984, TSC Inspection Systems is the trading name of Technical Software Consultants Ltd and is a privately owned company accredited to ISO9001: 2008 for the design and manufacture of NDT equipment. Having gained an international reputation as an innovator of advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions, TSC Inspection Systems will be using Materials Testing 2011 to market its range of ACFM (alternating current field measurement) systems. TSC is the world authority on ACFM inspection technique and designs, develops and manufactures the advanced instruments in-house. Used worldwide for more than 20 years, the ACFM technique not only detects but also records length and depth of surface breaking defects on any magnetic or non-magnetic metal surface, even through grease and coating. TSC manufactures systems for both topside and underwater inspection projects.
A highlight of the display will be a demonstration of the AMIGO ACFM crack micro gauge system and associated probes, which enable users to detect and size surface breaking cracks in electrically conductive materials. The AMIGO system is one of the two main ACFM product lines on offer, alongside the newer U31 system for underwater inspection of cracks in water depths of up to 2000 m. With a range of over 40 individual standard probes for use with either the AMIGO system or the U31 system there is a probe for most applications, whether above or under water. The probes come as single sensors, multi sensors, high temperature and underwater probes. Some of the underwater probes can be used with the AMIGO topside system.
The in-house developed ASSIST software family operates with the latest Windows 7 and enables the operator to collect, analyse and store the data from which a report can be printed or sent to a remote location for control.
TSC systems are available from the UK head office or worldwide through a network of international agents. Service and repairs are all carried out in-house to ensure the high quality and performance of the products.
