BSI Draft Standards
Your opportunity to comment
In order to ensure that the NDT Industry has an opportunity to review and comment on draft BSI standards, it is advised that Associate members register with the new BSI Draft Review System. This will provide you with access to all standards which are open to public comment and will provide you with an opportunity to voice your opinion at the consultation stage.
Please find below the details provided by BSI:
BSI is pleased to announce the launch of its Draft Review system for national Drafts for Public Comment (DPCs).
The Draft Review system is a free, easy to use, web-based tool designed to encourage participation from all those who have an interest in the subject area. To register and start making comments, please visit http://drafts.bsigroup.com/
The system has been produced to enable access to DPCs to a wider community and stakeholders; to facilitate collaborative working and to enable BSI to manage comments on drafts standards originating from the UK. As a result, the UK will get more robust and relevant standards through wider participation, raising the quality of national standards, and highlighting standardisation activity.
The system will be available in May and will include British Standards and selected Publicly Available Specifications (PASs). European and International documents will not be included at this stage.
Details of draft standards available for comment can be found in Update Standards.
