A suitably experienced and qualified person is being sought to undertake the role of Lead Assessor at the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT). Recruiting someone into this role will help to develop the in-house auditing capability of the BINDT secretariat as the organisation grows in both size and complexity.

BINDT is a professional engineering institution and registered charity, the principal mission of which is to promote the advancement of the science and practice of non-destructive testing (NDT), condition monitoring (CM) and other related materials testing disciplines. 

You will:
  • Be able to engage with the charitable ethos of BINDT
  • Hold a formal relevant assessor qualification
  • Have extensive and broad experience of undertaking audits of organisations
  • Be a good team worker
  • Thrive on change
  • Have aspirations to develop professionally
  • Be willing and able to travel nationally and internationally, quite extensively
  • Have access to a reliable and safe car for use on business.
We offer:
  • A permanent, full-time contract
  • A salary in the range £36,000 to £46,000
  • 45p per mile for use of own car for business travel
  • 25 days p.a. holiday, plus English public holidays
