Johnson and Allen is the only UK UKAS-accredited lab for the calibration of MPI inspection units (Lab 4168).

The established Neocol and Neopen range of consumables are tried, tested and approved by leading manufacturers and inspection organisations. The company has recently introduced process compensated resonance testing (PCRT) to the UK market as part of a joint venture with the Vibrant Corporation in the USA. Vibrant NDT Ltd provides PCRT and is also listed in the Yearbook.
Johnson and Allen has recently acquired a second manufacturing base, Croos Smithfields, to house its own fabrication workshop. The aerosol plant and administration remains at Neocol Works. No job is considered too small and the company prides itself on making bespoke machines for inspection, as well as maintaining a range of standard equipment. New for this year is 'Digigauss', a state-of-the-art microelectronic gauss and waveform indicator. Last year's patented self-contained portable AC electromagnet continues to be a best seller.
