It is the professional institute for all those engaged in both CM and NDT. It is concerned with education, training and the advancement of the science and practice of the subject. Over its 40 years, BINDT has established itself as one of the UK's leading engineering institutions, achieving Nominated Body status with the Engineering Council. The object of BINDT is to promote and advance the disciplines of CM, NDT, diagnostic engineering and all other materials and quality testing techniques. In achieving this aim, BINDT, which employs a permanent staff at its Northampton headquarters, relies on the support of personnel, companies and other organisations in the NDT industry.
