Description:

Bilfinger UK is an established provider of conventional and advanced NDT services to the oil and gas, energy, petrochemical, renewables, nuclear and utilities sectors, covering onshore and offshore facilities across north west Europe. The company has 16 operations centres across the UK, Denmark and the Netherlands.

Bilfinger UK is a UKAS-accredited Type C Inspection Body in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020:2012. The company holds TÜV approval for BS EN ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001 approval from Lloyd's Register for Thickness Measurement of Hull Structure Type B (Ships: all vessels as defined in MQPS, Book N, Procedure 17-1) and approvals from DNV-GL for thickness measurements on ships and mobile offshore units, in accordance with Class Programme DNVGL-CP-0484, and non-destructive testing (NDT) on classification projects, in accordance with Class Programme DNVGL-CP-0484. The company also holds approval from the UK Civil Aviation Authority for UAV (drone) operations. In addition, Bilfinger is an active member and participant of IRATA, HOIS, BINDT and the OGTC.

Bilfinger currently has in excess of 350 NDT technicians delivering conventional and advanced NDT, utilising the latest equipment and techniques.

It also invests considerable time and resources in the validation of emerging NDT techniques, as is evidenced by its collaborations within HOIS and its independent validation facility.
