Description:

James Fisher NDT (JF NDT) is based in Deeside, near Chester, with supporting bases right across the country, and offers a fully comprehensive range of site services providing field NDT inspection, site and fixed-facility radiographic services, project management and technical support.

JF NDT works across a wide base of industry sectors specialising in the NDT of safety-critical components that demand the very highest in quality standards. This requires that JF NDT achieves and maintains compliance with stringent industry requirements, client qualifications and quality accreditations, including UKAS and Nadcap, for all aspects of NDT work for personnel, techniques, procedures, equipment calibration and facilities.

The JF NDT Division has the resources to support your business with a permanent staff qualified to PCN/NAS 410/EN 4179 or above in multiple disciplines, including staff with qualifications to Level III, and operates fully equipped X-ray exposure bays at strategically placed locations. JF NDT ensures that work is progressed and reported in a timely and traceable fashion to the standards its customers require.

The comprehensive range of services offered includes the full spectrum of conventional and advanced NDT techniques, such as radiographic, ultrasonic, eddy current, penetrant and magnetic particle testing to more specialised methods such as time-of-flight diffraction (TOFD), phased array, high-resolution ultrasonic corrosion mapping, pulsed eddy current and computed radiography.

Furthermore, JF NDT also offers technical support, technique development, inspection planning and deployment for a range of complementary testing, providing bespoke inspection services, which include remote visual camera, UAV/ROV deployment, borescope inspection and advanced ultrasonic and radiographic measurement systems.

As part of the James Fisher plc Group, JF NDT can, where required, leverage its own substantial resources with those of the group and an international supply chain to deliver a wide range of projects, from concept through to commissioning.
