Applied Inspection Ltd was formed in March 1984 offering a high-quality non-destructive testing service to industry, rapidly gaining a reputation for being one of the most highly qualified NDT companies in the UK. The company soon acquired a customer base covering a very wide range of industries, both in this country and overseas. The company has expanded in both size and the range of services offered. The company now operates out of three principal sites: Chesterfield, Burton on Trent and Ossett, West Yorkshire, with a satellite site in Glasgow.
The primary strength of the company is the supply of NDT services to a diverse and demanding range of markets, including power generation, petrochemical, construction, aerospace, foundry, nuclear, fabrication and the rail industry.
In recent years, the additional services of in-house and on-site welding and materials testing have been added, along with consultancy services in the areas of quality assurance, supplier assessment and welding, training and metallurgy.
