Description:

Having been in operation for over 20 years, IMechE Argyll Ruane’s Level 3 Services department offers NDT support and services to the aerospace, nuclear, oil and gas, petrochemical, medical and automotive industries, to name but a few.

Each of the company's Level 3 consultants has been recruited based on their industrial experience, allowing the company to operate a diverse team of NDT Level 3 specialists, with the correct field of expertise for a variety of customer demands. To accompany this, each of the company's consultants holds a range of Level 3 certifications, covering multiple NDT methods across various certification schemes (PCN, ASNT and EN 4179/NAS 410). In addition to the ‘standard’ certifications, several of the company's consultants hold customer/regulatory-based approvals, including Rolls-Royce, Airbus, BAE Systems and CAA Form 4 approval.

Although the team is based within the UK at Sheffield and now Dunfermline, it is more than willing to travel the globe to offer a world-class level of NDT support, training and examinations.

Services available include, but are not limited to:

  • Validation of new NDT equipment/methods/techniques introduced into a company
  • Auditing of NDT facilities (including pre-Nadcap audits)
  • Review of manufacturing drawings/standards to identify NDT requirements
  • Employer-based certification scheme training and examination services (EN 4179/NAS 410 and SNT-TC-1A)
  • General technical guidance to ensure compliance to customer and regulatory requirements.

The team prides itself on being highly capable, experienced, responsive and reliable and is regarded as one of the best in the industry.
