NDT Technician

An opportunity has arisen to join a company that is expanding its experienced team with a field-based role. The successful candidate will be paid from the moment they leave home until they return. The role offers training and development opportunities in order to thrive in this position and become a technical expert in the specialist field. The company is a multi-disciplined expert in welding and mechanical non-destructive testing (NDT) inspection with a presence across the UK. Due to continued growth, it is looking for an NDT Technician at any stage of their career to join its motivated team.

The role:

In this role, the successful candidate will work predominantly remotely, travelling to various sites across the north/greater Manchester area to perform non-destructive testing on a range of mechanical and welded products. 

The successful candidate will be paid door-to-door, with occasional overnight stays away from home along with some workshop-based work.

The role would suit someone with a background in NDT inspection, surface technician experience, ultrasonic testing or similar. The successful candidate must have a full UK driving licence and be comfortable staying away occasionally at the company’s expense.

Hours of work:

• Monday-Friday
• 37 hours per week.
