An Asset Integrity Engineer is required to work on a permanent basis for an engineering company in Teesside. This role will support petrochemical/oil & gas clients in understanding the life, degradation, integrity and performance of their assets and will include assessing the condition of ageing assets and creating market-leading engineering solutions.

Daily tasks will include:
  • Analysis of the strength, life and dynamics of mechanical components, systems, assets and facilities
  • Using computer-aided engineering and finite element analysis (FEA) to provide this insight and complete technical solutions to clients
  • Using design/assessment codes for plant operation, pressure vessel and pipe work
  • Supporting further business growth and attending networking events.

Experience required:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (desirable)
  • Technical knowledge in mechanical and/or structural engineering
  • Computational analysis of mechanical structures
  • Knowledge of the process and chemicals industry
  • Taking technical leadership and project management responsibility for complex projects
  • An understanding of NDT and industry-leading methods
  • Experience working in an engineering consultancy environment (required).
