The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified person to assist with the delivery and implementation of its projects and strategy, including but not limited to support for:
  • Certification (NDT and CM) projects
  • Development of new certification models
  • Working groups
  • Standards development
  • Internal and external meetings and relations, both nationally and internationally
  • Documentation review, development and update.

Applications are invited from individuals who possess knowledge and experience of the NDT and condition monitoring industries, methods, standards and personnel certification fields.

Working across all business and technical divisions of BINDT, the successful candidate will be involved in all of the above activities and, in particular, the development of enhanced modular certification schemes for both existing and new training and education requirements, matched with stakeholder/end-user needs.

This will require an exacting skill-set and wide-ranging competency to ensure that the BINDT certification product range not only remains as the premier certification provider but also realigns market expectations of NDT/CM certification and service performance.

The ideal candidate will also be:
  • Very well organised with an exceptional attention to detail
  • A good communicator, in writing and verbally, with the ability to converse, in English, with clients at various levels
  • A team player with a demonstrated personal commitment and drive and the ability to accomplish projects effectively and efficiently.

Initially, a six-month contract is envisaged, 2-3 days per week, with the option to renew.
