AWE is looking to recruit a Group Leader Quality – NDT to lead a team of quality professionals in non-destructive testing (NDT) to achieve business and functional requirements by driving continuous improvement, establishing systems to build in and verify quality while providing assurance that customer, regulatory and business requirements are met.

The company is interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Significant experience with problem resolution and continuous improvement tools, techniques and best practice
  • Strong leadership experience with an ability to lead, manage and coach a team of leaders
  • Previous experience leading and driving change and transformation
  • Experience of applying quality management principles in a safety-critical or manufacturing environment
  • HNC or equivalent in quality or a related field and working towards professional membership.
  • Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and be willing and able to work in designated areas to suit working patterns.
