NDT Tank Inspector

Main duties:

• NDT tank, vessel and pipe inspection in accordance with applicable codes and standards
• Assessment and recommendation of repairs, maintenance and remedial work to achieve legal compliance
• Resolution of issues in a timely manner
• Subcontractor management
• Preparation of documents and inspection reports
• Travel to other sites within the group for inspection work.

Requirements:

• Experience gained in the inspection field within a regulated engineering/industrial environment
• Knowledge of process plant, storage tanks, pressure vessels, piping systems
• A minimum of PCN Level 2 – NDT
• Experience of NDT testing methods such as magnetic testing, eddy current testing and penetrant testing would be advantageous
• Experience of inspection in accordance with approved codes and written schemes of examination (WSE)
• Flexibility to travel to other sites for inspection work
• The ability to work in confined spaces, at heights and in varying temperatures
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player
• Valid full UK driving license.
