The company has an opportunity for an NDT Technician to join its growing team in Bridgwater. Offering qualified expertise in non-destructive testing, Element Bridgwater services some of the largest engineering businesses in the world. Imperfections, while often difficult to detect, can result in failures that have consequences far beyond the commercial cost. The non-destructive testing that Element conducts is a highly effective way to detect even the smallest damage or imperfection in materials before or during their operational life.

This role will be based in Bridgwater but will require travel to client sites across the UK, where the work will involve working at height and in confined spaces.

  • PCN Level 2 certification in: ultrasonic weld inspection in plate and pipe; magnetic particle inspection – general; eddy current weld inspection (desirable); and liquid penetrant inspection – general (desirable)
  • A passion for developing a career in engineering (essential)
  • A basic knowledge of other NDT methodology would be highly advantageous
