  • Liaise with customers in resolving any arising NDT problems in order to minimise any customer dissatisfaction and cost to the works
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all NDT methods applicable to the industry and customer, national and international standards applicable to those methods
  • Represent the company on national/international bodies concerned with NDT
  • Support all audit activities associated with both internal and external auditors, including maintaining standards for all end-use applications.
Required skills:
Certification to Level 3 is strongly preferred. Consideration will be given to applicants who are not currently qualified to NDT Level 3, but applicants must be prepared to study for appropriate NDT qualifications to achieve Level 3 within two years.

A good background knowledge of the products, processes and systems is also necessary, which might be represented by, for example, a technical/engineering degree plus a minimum of five years’ work experience.

Ongoing CPD commitment is needed in order to maintain up-to-date knowledge of developing technology and certification requirements and to facilitate the necessary five-yearly NDT Level 3 requalification.

Benefits include 35 days’ holiday, up to 16% combined pension contribution, access to occupational health services and career progression.
