NDT Technicians

Candidate skill set:

• Ultrasonic testing (UT) (3.1 and 3.2)
• Radiography testing (RT)
• Phased array ultrasonic testing
• Eddy current testing.
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections on materials for various industries, including oil & gas, petrochemical, aerospace, power and nuclear
• Conduct the following techniques on a day-to-day basis: ultrasonic testing, dye penetrant inspection, magnetic particle inspection, radiographic testing and eddy current testing
• Analyse and interpret non-destructive testing (NDT) results, identifying any defects, cracks or other issues and generate detailed reports that are clear and concise
• Adhere to industry regulations and safety standards
• Calibrate and maintain equipment
• Work closely with customers and be happy to travel locally in the North West region
• Recommend corrective actions when necessary
• Stay up to date with industry developments and any regulatory changes
• Follow strict safety protocols.
  
  

The candidates:

• Industrial-based experience in at least one of the following: ultrasonic testing, radiography testing, phased array inspection or eddy current testing
• Previous experience in quality control and inspection
• Knowledge of corrosion testing
• Experience of analysing and writing reports
• Full UK driving licence is a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
