NDT Trainer

IMechE Argyll Ruane is an internationally renowned provider of non-destructive, corrosion and coatings training, examinations and consultancy services.
 
The company is looking for a non-destructive testing professional to become one of its NDT Trainers, joining on a full-time, permanent basis.
 
The NDT Trainer will deliver high-quality training in the NDT disciplines they are qualified in.
 
To ensure the successful candidate's success, they will be coached and mentored by a member of the team, will have the chance to train and gain new certifications and will be supported until they are ready to step in front of a classroom and share their expertise.
 
IMechE is looking for someone with:

• At a minimum, five years’ industrial experience as an NDT technician
• At a minimum, PCN Level 2 qualifications (preferably a combination of these methods: RT welds and RT castings (light and dense metals)
• Extensive knowledge in their NDT subject area
• The confidence, creativity and enthusiasm to plan and deliver lessons
• Excellent teamworking and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Level 2 qualifications in CR, WI, PT or VT would be advantageous, as would any Level 3 qualifications.

Previous experience in a training environment is also desirable, but is not essential as training will be given.
