Quality Inspectors

The hiring company is a specialist service provider to the vehicle manufacturing industry and its supply chains and this is an excellent opportunity to join its team.

The Quality Inspectors will also be required to travel to some of the hiring company’s additional operations in places such as Deeside, North Wales, and other areas of the North West as and when required to do so. Due to the various locations of work, applicants must have their own reliable transportation and a full driving license.

Working directly for the company in some of its prestigious operations, the successful candidates will join one of its established teams of quality assurance personnel and will be responsible for providing an effective quality inspection and containment and rectification service. 

Applicants should have experience in a similar quality inspection role and be competent in the use of measuring equipment such as bore gauges, vernier callipers and micrometers and ideally have some experience of the dye penetrant non-destructive testing technique.

Successful candidates will normally work on a day-shift basis but will be required to work alternate shifts as and when required. As such, candidates should be happy to work both day shifts and night shifts when needed.

In return, the successful candidates will be rewarded with a basic hourly pay rate of £8.30 for day shifts, will receive enhancements for other hours and weekend working and will be provided with a company uniform.

Based mainly in the Crewe area of Cheshire, this role is commutable from Deeside, Chester, Wrexham, Northwich and Winsford, among many other areas of Cheshire and the North West region.
