A designer and manufacturer of industrial reliability and predictive maintenance solutions for the oil & gas, marine and renewable industries is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Scotland as it looks to increase its market share across the UK and Continental Europe.

  • Generate new business opportunities from within existing and new markets
  • Train customers and partners and provide support involving on-site demonstrations of the hardware, portable online systems and software
  • Offer advice and guidance in industrial maintenance, orienting to new technical solutions that allow clients to reduce their operation and maintenance costs
  • Regular market analysis and development of new market niches
  • Active acquisition of new customers through business development and strategic key account management
  • Support in the identification and documentation of customer requirements
  • Support in the calculation of offers to end-customers
  • Organisation, coordination and execution of annual sales meeting
  • Take proposals to the point of order closure
  • Conduct presentations and attend customer visits, trade shows and events.


  • BSc/HNC/HND in mechanical, electrical, electronic or any other similar degree/qualification
  • Proven sales and commercial track record in industrial engineering or maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), providing solutions to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), operators and engineering companies
  • Well versed in account, key account, strategic account and business development management
  • High level of technical knowledge and understanding of industrial reliability, condition monitoring, vibration analysis, laser shaft alignment or non-destructive testing
  • Experience as a machinery service engineer working on turbines, generators, pumps and motors would be desirable
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of some or all of the following industries: oil & gas, power generation (thermo, hydro, wind), marine, pulp & paper and renewables
  • Knowledge and experience in adapting cutting-edge information technologies to industrial processes: Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), big data, artificial intelligence and business intelligence (highly desirable but not essential).

This is a full-time position that can be based anywhere in Scotland.
