Within our Asset Management division, we have a solid track record of providing specialist NDE techniques and services and our tailored NDT inspections ensure minimum downtime within the nuclear and non-nuclear industries. We are currently looking for an experienced Principal NDT Engineer who will join the business to provide support and promote the NDT capability within the business.

As part of the team responsible for the NDT carried out by Doosan or any associated sub-contractors, the Principal NDT Engineer will provide technical expertise in the field of non-destructive testing. You will be responsible for a variety of duties, including the preparation of tenders, writing cost estimates and performing design calculations. You will also be the project manager or principal investigator to assigned larger projects to support the timely delivery and cost to meet client expectations. As a technical expert, the Principal NDT Engineer will be pivotal in coaching other team members in order to continually grow and develop their expertise as well as the value added to the business.

This role requires an experienced Principal NDT Engineer who can demonstrate previous experience in a similar role. You will be degree qualified in a relevant subject and will hold a PCN Level 3 qualification in ultrasonic testing with excellent technical knowledge and the ability to show creative and innovative skills in order to enhance the capability of the NDT business. You will be able to demonstrate great commercial awareness and show us that you are at home helping to develop the NDT capabilities within the wider team.
