Junior Materials Technician

An aspiring engineer with an interest in materials looking to join a technical materials testing business is sought. On offer is the opportunity to create a prosperous career within a growing company. 

The role will involve the creation and testing of specimens, the creation of certificates and basic report writing. This role is not your typical materials testing position; the successful candidate will be working across a wide variety of interesting and unique materials and use a multitude of different techniques.

This role would suit an aspiring engineer with either an NVQ/BTEC in engineering or maths/science A Levels, looking to join a business that offers flexibility and a work-life balance.

The role:

• Creation and testing of material specimens
• Writing reports to feed back the results of the tests
• 40 hours per week with flexible start and finish times.

The person:

• Must hold a BTEC/NVQ in engineering or maths/science A Levels
• Has an interest in materials.

The salary advertised is a guideline for this position. The offered remuneration will be dependent on the extent of experience, qualifications and skill set.
