The lectures should be a total duration of 20 minutes to allow for a 15-minute presentation followed by five minutes for questions. The subject can be about any NDT/CM/SHM topic of the speaker’s choice.

Wednesday 27 April 2022 – POSTPONED
Early Careers lecture competition
from 5.00 pm.
The call for entries has now closed. The meeting will include three final year degree apprentices who will present on a subject about any NDT/CM/SHM topic of the speaker's choice. This meeting will be useful for other apprentices and employers to attend as the presentations will be based on the NDT Project that the speakers will have completed as part of their degree and what they will present for their End-Point Assessment. The attendees will be invited to score the speakers via a Zoom poll and will hopefully learn about some new NDT technologies along the way.
The meeting will be a webinar hosted via Zoom and registration is required in advance at:

Following successful meetings with high attendance, since the reforming the Branch at the start of 2012, our current prospective attendees list is always being updated.

If you wish to be added to our mailing list (where you will only ever be 'bcc' copied), then please email our current programme organiser (as detailed above).

We'd like to hear your thoughts on suggested venues and the sort of activities you'd like to participate in. What would you like to see and do? Can you suggest a suitable topic for an event, or host us at your facility? We really want to encourage participation from personnel across different industries and institutions. After all, who knows when the next problem your company encounters could be solved by someone you've met at the Branch meeting suggesting some kit or offering you some advice on how to solve an issue? Within NDT, knowledge and contacts are essential to tackling emerging issues and improving current methods. We want this to be the cornerstone of our successful Branch. Come to a meeting – we are a friendly bunch from a wide spectrum of industries.
