Education requirements for Voting Membership
This table has been drawn up to assist candidates and those responsible for assessing applications to understand what qualifications can contribute to an acceptable level for the different membership grades. The table is based on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF), Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework (SCQF) and the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ).
Council may, at its discretion, accept into membership candidates without exemplifying education qualifications but who are assessed as exhibiting the appropriate level of knowledge and understanding in their work roles. Candidates may progress via the Individual Route to membership and this may be evidenced through an experiential assessment.
