State-of-the-art innovative technologies for non-destructive analysis of objects of fine art and cultural and historical heritage

Continuous innovations in advanced high-resolution imaging technologies and methods have led to unique applications for non-destructive investigations of microstructures in the conservation of cultural and environmental heritage. High-resolution imaging diagnostics are powerful methods that can bring about a revolution in the usual study and conservation processes of art objects. We will demonstrate the most recent results in the new field of non-destructive investigation and diagnostics of cultural and environmental heritage,
by Roman Maev.
Professor Maev is the organiser of the BINDT-sponsored Third International Workshop: ‘Analysing Art: New Technologies – New Applications’, to be held 10-12 May 2021 in Florence, Italy.
