Description:

Dolphitech was founded in 2009 with the mission of redefining the boundaries of UT imaging. This culiminated in the launch of the dolphicam2 in 2018 as a general-purpose 2D matrix array UT system. The dolphicam2 is believed to be unique among UT devices with its architecture of 128 × 128 crossing electrodes, giving a transducer with an active aperture of 16,384 elements. With this unparalleled resolution, the system can produce detailed images in three dimensions. As a result, it is well suited to a wide variety of straight-beam ultrasonic applications, including composite materials, corrosion mapping and inspection of adhesive bonding. With a range of transducer frequencies from 1.5 MHz to 10 MHz, the dolphicam2 provides a volumetric NDT solution for materials ranging from thick marine and wind turbine blade glass-fibre composites to thin carbon-fibre composites and metals. 2021 saw the launch of the dolphicam2+, featuring a larger 14" display.
