Established in 1995, Technology Design Limited (TD) specialises in the design, development and manufacture of advanced ultrasonic data acquisition systems for non-destructive testing.  
 

Acquisition systems

The company's instruments combine advanced phased array capabilities, FMC/TFM and innovative phase coherence imaging (PCI), as well as zonal discrimination (AUT) and conventional UT, including TOFD and pulse-echo techniques.

The product portfolio ranges from the market-leading PS45 PocketScan, a compact multi-channel instrument small enough to fit into an overall pocket, to the FocusScan RX II, a powerful feature-rich acquisition unit designed to identify and evaluate critical defects and deliver precise, reliable assessments.

TD systems serve a broad spectrum of industries, including oil & gas, pipelines, power generation and renewables, chemicals, manufacturing, aerospace and transport, education and research. Its solutions are designed to suit the widest spread of applications:

A ‘total solution’ offering is also available to all Technology Design customers, providing the convenience of purchasing OEM scanners, probes and accessories from a single source, which seamlessly integrate with Technology Design ultrasonic data acquisition systems.
