ETher NDE has announced the integration of the innovative rotary C-scanning feature as a standard capability in the AeroCheck 3. This enhancement significantly elevates the instrument’s functionality, making it an essential tool for non-destructive testing professionals.

The AeroCheck 3 now supports rotary capabilities as standard and is compatible with the ETher Mercury (mini) ARD002, Hocking 33A100 and Rohmann MR3/SR1 and SR2 drives (with special adapter cable). This advanced feature offers a high-resolution C-scan capability that provides clear, detailed images, allowing for comprehensive analysis of inner diameter hole inspections. Users can now visualise individual layers within inspected holes, enhancing their understanding of material integrity and potential defects.

The AeroCheck 3 can store data from up to two frequencies, accommodating a wide range of inspection needs, and data can be analysed directly on the instrument or transferred to a desktop PC for further examination. Users can optimise the stored data with fully adjustable gain and phase settings post-test, significantly increasing the probability of detection and improving data interpretation.

With the capability to store up to 10,000 scans on the included 32 GB SD card, users can conduct extensive inspections without the worry of data loss.
