IMechE Argyll Ruane provides training for a full range of NDT methods, including weld inspection, film-based radiography, computed radiography, penetrant testing, magnetic particle testing, eddy current, pulsed eddy current, visual testing and ultrasonic testing, including more advanced UT methods such as time-of-flight diffraction (TOFD) and phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT).
The company also offers online training with PCN Level 2, Level 2 refresher and Level 3 training. Online learning offers convenience and cost-savings and many students find that the ability to learn at their own pace significantly reduces the stress that can be felt when taking on theoretical concepts in a classroom. All online courses are examined at the training centre and students also visit for the practical element of courses.
