Electron-X has supplied customers with a wide range X-ray products and services from its base in Milton Keynes since 2003.
It provides:- Bespoke radiation enclosures for up to 3MeV.

The company's core business is design and supply of radiation enclosures (rooms, bunkers, cabinets, etc) to customer specification and conforming to HSE IRR 2017.
It has a team of mechanical, electrical and electronic engineers in house that deal with all aspects of each design, including radiation calculations.
Enclosures are constructed from lead or concrete for radiation shielding and can have manual or powered doors plus equipment and sample manipulation systems when required.
Each enclosure has a PLC control system linking the X-ray source(s) to the safety interlocks.
Electron-X specialises in the design and installation of high-energy linear accelerator (LINAC) facilities.
It refurbishes, modifies and moves existing X-ray facilities. This can include upgrades to doors, repairs and improvements to shielding and new safety systems.
The company has a sizeable and fast-growing service team with a wide variety of technical skills.
It maintains the X-ray enclosures that it supplies, as well as rooms and equipment supplied by others that it has taken responsibility for.
In addition to regular PM servicing, the company's service team has a remote support service and fast response times for breakdown callouts.
The company's in-house inspection area is equipped with a range microfocus X-ray machines to deal with different sample size, weight and inspection requirements.
Parts can be sent to Electron-X or brought in person. It can provide reports and X-ray images with a fast turnaround service.
