Part of the Descours & Cabaud/Hayley Dexis group, Hayley-DIRS Ltd designs and manufactures bespoke digital industrial radiography systems. The company has been based in Great Yarmouth since the 1980s and has 40+ years’ experience in industrial radiography applications covering many industries.

Hayley-DIRS Ltd designs, manufactures, supplies, installs, commissions and services bespoke X-ray inspection machines and SALUS systems for the aerospace, aviation, defence and nuclear industries, providing complete solutions for specialist radiographic applications.

The company’s products provide specialist digital X-ray imaging of critical components and assemblies using both DR and CT techniques. Scope of supply ranges from custom X-ray detectors to complete DR/CT cabinet systems.

Hayley-DIRS Ltd also provides radiation-shielded rooms with complete integrated search and lock-up safety systems. Radiation-shielded enclosures are designed and built to suit customers’ applications for their specific production environment.

Digital radiography systems are integrated together by the company’s modular iX-Control software package.

This highly modular software package has extensive hardware interface libraries, allowing it to be adapted to all applications. It can be adapted for use with different X-ray sources, detectors, motion controllers and safety interfacing. iX-Control provides a common/familiar user interface that can be configured for simple repetitive production tasks while maintaining full functionality for procedure development work.
