An independent NDT consultancy company, Talon NDT Limited was established in 1997 in response to oil industry demands for a more flexible, tailored approach to NDT services and certification. The company is fronted by Director Ian R Judge, who is a highly-qualified and experienced Level 3 consultant with over 20 years' experience of worldwide inspection, training and certification. Talon NDT carries out SNT and PCN non-destructive testing courses and examinations in the following methods:
- Magnetic particle inspection
- Liquid penetrant inspection
- Ultrasonic inspection
- Eddy current inspection
- Radiographic inspection interpretation
- Basic radiation safety.
Talon NDT is an IRATA-accredited training centre for Rope Access Level 1, 2 and 3 courses and assessments. Courses run in Edinburgh and Blackpool as well as Aberdeen.
Talon NDT can now produce NDT sample manufacturing and mastering to meet ASNT/PCN examination sample specifications. All configurations and materials can be accommodated.
