Description:

Omnia Integrity Ltd provides advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) technologies for the inspection, assessment and monitoring of critical assets. The company specialises in three principal technologies: acoustic emission (AE), alternating current field measurement (ACFM) and microwave NDT, providing solutions for metallic, composite and non-metallic structures across a wide range of industries.

Acoustic emission is particularly suited to structural health monitoring (SHM), allowing structures to be monitored continuously or periodically over extended periods. AE detects active damage mechanisms and can identify activity originating from hidden or difficult-to-access areas. Applications include bridges, buildings, pressure vessels, storage tanks, pipelines, composite structures, cranes and offshore assets. Specialist applications include long-term monitoring of ammonia and cryogenic storage tanks, as well as high-performance engineering and Formula 1 applications, where AE can monitor damage initiation and progression in highly loaded metallic and composite components.

ACFM is an electromagnetic technique for detecting and sizing surface-breaking cracks in conductive materials. It can inspect through protective coatings and operate both above and below water, making it particularly suitable for welds and critical structural components in industrial, marine and offshore environments.

Microwave NDT provides advanced inspection solutions for non-metallic and dielectric materials, including FRP and composite structures, enabling the detection and assessment of internal defects, damage and material variations.

Omnia Integrity also provides specialist training, technical consultancy and research and development (R&D). The company owns proprietary intellectual property and patent-pending technologies, reflecting its commitment to developing innovative NDT instrumentation, monitoring approaches and practical solutions for challenging asset-integrity applications.
