Technology and data intelligence specialist IMRANDD has secured a two-year contract extension with Dana Petroleum, providing integrity services for all of its UK-operated assets. The contract covers predictive maintenance planning, risk-based inspection (RBI) services, integrity management and data analytics to both of Dana’s floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels in the North Sea.
IMRANDD has been supporting Dana Petroleum with integrity services since being awarded the competitively tendered contract in 2016. This renewal not only secures work for seven engineers, but will also see IMRANDD providing data analytics through its advanced software solution, AIDA™.
Commenting on the renewal, Innes Auchterlonie, IMRANND CEO, said: “I am extremely proud of our team and delighted to extend the relationship with our much-valued customer, Dana Petroleum. This award demonstrates a continued confidence in IMRANDD’s ability to provide cutting-edge integrity management solutions that maximise operational efficiencies and reduce costs.
“As part of our ethos, we will ensure Dana continues to receive a differentiated and unbiased service that sets us apart from our peers. We look forward to enhancing our offering further by providing advanced data-driven capability through AIDA. This software enables inspection and maintenance enactment to be rationalised and refocused onto the areas that require it the most, supporting safe, efficient operational expenditure (OPEX) reduction.”
Dana’s two operating assets include the Western Isles FPSO that takes production from the Harris and Barra fields in the northern North Sea, 160 km east of the Shetland Islands and 12 km west of Tern field. The Triton FPSO produces oil and gas from the Bittern, Guillemot West and North West, Clapham, Pict and Saxon fields.
