Align Capital Partners (ACP) has announced the merger of Cleveland-based Predictive Service with Indianapolis-based Lewellyn Technology.

ACP acquired a majority stake in Lewellyn last November. This strategic combination creates a technology-enabled enterprise asset management, predictive maintenance, safety and repair services platform designed to reduce operating costs, improve equipment utilisation and ensure safety for customers worldwide.

At the centre of Predictive’s enterprise asset management solution is the company’s proprietary ViewPoint® software, which provides data collection, analysis and decision-making functionality for the maintenance and repair needs of customers. It allows plant managers to not only prevent equipment failure, but also manage energy and cost saving initiatives in real time. Don Frankel, CEO of Predictive, along with other senior members of management, will retain significant leadership roles and ownership positions in the combined company.

“This is a truly transformative investment to our existing Lewellyn platform,” said Chris Jones, Managing Partner of ACP. “Predictive’s operational efficiency value proposition combined with Lewellyn’s safety-focused suite of services creates a unique single-source service provider in the enterprise asset management and safety services industry. The leadership teams of both companies bring different expertise to bear and combine for the optimal foundation for future growth.”

“I have known Don for many years, so I am excited to partner with him and the Predictive team to create a leading operational efficiency and safety services platform,” said Mike Vea, CEO of Lewellyn. “I am confident that customers will find great value in the combination of our highly skilled safety and reliability specialists, alongside a robust technology platform. We will also continue to seek add-on acquisitions of niche predictive maintenance and safety service providers.”

Don said: “I am extremely proud of our ability to help clients to improve their equipment asset life through our reliability consulting, predictive maintenance and repair services on a truly global scale. I am excited to partner with ACP and Lewellyn to expand our ability to help clients solve their reliability and safety needs.”
