Korean Ambassador visits Silverwing

His Excellency Mr Sungnam Lim, Republic of Korea’s Ambassador, and Mr Wonjae Lee, Counsellor for the Korean Embassy, London, recently visited Silverwing UK, welcomed by Mr Wayne Woodhead, Managing Director, and Jackie Berry, Global Distributor Manager for Silverwing. The visit was arranged by the Welsh International Trade Organisation, which was asked to nominate a select number of companies they engage with and who do business in the region. Silverwing was nominated due to the recent appointment of a Korean distributor.
Both His Excellency Mr Sungnam Lim and Mr Wonjae Lee were given a tour of the factory and offices, along with a demonstration of Silverwing’s non-destructive testing inspection equipment, manufactured for storage tanks, vessels and pipework within the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
Jackie Berry commented: “These are very exciting times for everyone connected with Silverwing. The UK government is taking every opportunity to promote Wales overseas, using UKTI, their extensive network of embassies, consulates and high commissions around the world, to demonstrate that Wales is very much open for business.”
