TWI Training launches two new courses for 2018

TWI Training is offering two new courses at the start of 2018: PAUT and TOFD Data Analysis CSWIP Level 2 (Weld). After receiving many requests from several sources, the demand for ‘analysis only’ courses has driven the development of these two new 80 h courses.
Both courses are to be offered in the blended learning format only, meaning that the candidate will study the concepts and principles of the respective method with 40 h supported e-learning, followed by one week of classroom attendance for practical training under the guidance of the experienced tutoring staff. Reducing time in class and time away from work, this style of learning offers tangible cost savings for an individual or sponsoring company.The course is suitable for individuals who have no necessity to be involved in the acquisition aspect of phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) or time-of-flight diffraction (TOFD) inspection, but analyse the subsequent data from such inspections. This could be the first- or third-party assessor or anyone involved in the overseeing and subsequent sentencing of such results. Both courses are fully accredited to BS EN ISO 9712 and will offer individuals an alternative to gaining certification for the duties they are required to carry out.
