Wenzel and VisiConsult announce cooperation in field of CT-based metrology

In May 2022, the Wenzel Group and VisiConsult signed a cooperation agreement for a development and sales partnership, intended to jointly expand the successes achieved to date in the field of computed tomography (CT)-based metrology solutions.
“The key aspects of our partnership lie in the joint development towards a product range tailored for industrial metrology based on computed tomography technology,” explained Lennart Schulenburg, Managing Partner at VisiConsult. “We see enormous advantages for users by bundling the know-how of both companies for the development, production and realisation of this joint product portfolio.”
Dr Heike Wenzel, Managing Director of the Wenzel Group, explained: “By using existing synergies in purchasing, development and production and concentrating on the respective core competencies of VisiConsult and Wenzel, the attractiveness of the computed tomography solutions we offer to customers will be significantly increased.”
Dr Wenzel hopes that this will result in a significantly higher share for both partners in the rapidly growing market of computed tomography metrology.
The goal of the two medium-sized family-owned companies is long-term cooperation in the design, production and marketing of holistic computed tomography solutions, in which measurement technology plays an essential role in the system solution. VisiConsult is a specialist for X-ray image processing and automation. The company’s focus is on standard X-ray booths and customised special systems, as well as the development of software for the operation of these systems, in image processing and automatic defect recognition.
