The Karl Deutsch group of companies grows

With effect from 1 April 2024, Karl Deutsch has founded BTD GmbH, based in Brandenburg, Germany, together with its partner ‘Material Science Campus’. The Karl Deutsch group of companies is growing and this foundation opens up exciting new sales channels for the company.
The new company in the Karl Deutsch family is primarily involved in the manufacture of systems for non-destructive material testing in the railway vehicles sector. In addition, it is reorganising its sales activities for eastern Germany with the founding of BTD GmbH. From now on, it will be even closer to its customers.

The newly founded company merges with the company BTD GmbH & Co KG, whose previous owner, Wolfgang Spruch, will also be part of the new management. Thanks to the transfer of expertise from BTD GmbH & Co KG, the innovations in the Karl Deutsch Group are being further developed.
The company is managed by Sven Rühe (Material Science Campus) and Sascha Rosenbaum (Karl Deutsch), Managing Directors. The management team is strengthened by two persons with authorised signatory powers, Wolfgang Spruch (Prokura) and Olaf Wiedfeldt, CTO.
The company is looking forward to a large number of interesting rail vehicle projects that it has already been able to realise for customers this year. This is evidence of the market’s great trust in Karl Deutsch as a reliable partner in the field of non-destructive testing.
